Reading Room Service
The College Library has a spacious reading room (over 6000sq. ft.) for its users with more than 100 seating capacity. Students can use the reading room from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. The reading is room is open from 1030 am to 2.00 pm on Saturdays.
reference Service
The Reference Service to the users is an important one, our students can approach to the library staff with any quarries they have regarding study related issues as well ass career guidance. The staff can understand their actual & potential study needs.
book lending facility
An Honours Course Student can borrow/lend a maximum of 4 books at a time for a period of 14 days. A Programme Course student can borrow/lend a maximum of 2 books at a time for a period of 14 days. For Substantive Faculties maximum of 25 books for a period of 30 days and for SACT Teachers lending of 8 Books are allowed for 30 days.

Newspaper reading facility
The College Library has subscribed 1 (one) English language newspaper - "The Statesman", 3 (three) Bengali language newspaers - "Ananda Bazaar Patrika", "Uttarbanga Sambaad" and "Aajkaal", and 2 (two) career oriented newspapers - "Karmasangsthan" and "Appointment and Career News". Students can come and ask for newspaper reading in the Library Reading Room.
magazine reading facility
The College Library has subscribed 2 (two) magazines, namely, "Desh" and "Safalya". Students can come and ask for magazine reading in the Library Reading Room.
OPAC Search facility
The College Library is using Koha ILMS (Version: 22.05) for automation and the software provides Open Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for searching and identifying the books present in the college library.
catalog search facility
The College Library also preserve the good old Card Catalogue within wooden cabinet box. The catalogue cards are arranged subject wise and alphabetically. No new addition of catalogue card has been made since 2014. All the books are going to catalogued according to MARC 21 format electronically from 2020.
photocopying facility
The College Library also provide photocopying facility to the students and faculties. Students can photocopy the reading materials of the library a maximum of 30 pages or A chapter of a book at a time. The library promotes Fair Use of Copyrighted materials.
notice board service
The College Library informs and instructs the students in various ways and all such notices are displayed in the Library Notice Board. The library notices are also displayed in the website also.
